On June 22, 2009, OCU Campus Store reopened for business as an institutionally run entity. We are in the process of implementing
new systems that will allow us to better serve the OCU Campus Community and we welcome your feedback, suggestions, and comments.
Please feel free to contact any of the members of management directly with your concerns or feedback.
We will be offering many undergraduate and Masters’ level course materials at a discount this fall to begin to offer our students
a savings on their course materials while still offering the convenience and commitment to offering the correct course materials selected
by your OCU faculty. Select titles are being identified for rental this fall in anticipation of our goal to further impact the savings available
to students in the 2010-2011 Academic year with a more robust offering of rental titles.
OCU Campus Store anticipates another opportunity to save students money on their course materials purchases with the advent
of our new wholesale partnership with MBS Books. Unlike in the past where we purchased books from students every day at the
OCU Bookstore, we will have In-Store Buyback Events (see the Buyback Information tab on our home page for specific dates and times)
during the point in the textbook cycle that students’ books are worth the most amount of money whether the book is purchased
at the higher retail value to be resold on our campus or at the wholesale price to be shipped off-site to be used on other campuses.
We will still offer the convenience of selling books back on a daily basis, but it will be done through the Online Buyback function on
this site. This system allows students wishing to sell their books back an advantage over the previous cash transaction the OCU Bookstore
offered as a lease operator because their books are shipped to our partner, MBS Books, at no additional cost to the student, but when
the student receives their check for their buyback transaction it will include a 5% premium over the normal wholesale value that would
have been paid.
In addition to savings on textbooks, the OCU Campus Store is excited to introduce a new selection of apparel and gift items.
We have included higher quality lines of well-known collegiate clothing retailers like Champion, Gear for Sports, Nike, Under Armour, and
New Agenda at prices that are more competitive. As an institutional store, we are a member of the Independent College Bookstore
Association and the National Association of College Stores that have unique programs that allow us an opportunity to offer great prices on
bulk orders with reasonable turnaround times on orders. On your next order of tees, contact Emily George for a quote.
While our ultimate goal is to save students and the campus community money on all of their purchases at the OCU Campus Store,
please consider that your support of the OCU Campus Store keeps money on our campus and benefits the local economy in ways that purchases
made with our competitors do not. We appreciate your support and look forward to serving your needs in new and exciting ways
throughout the coming years. WE WELCOME YOUR IDEAS.
